Description:

The intercooler is installed between Turbocharger and Intake Manifold. The purpose of an intercooler is to cool down the air heated by the turbocharger. By cooling down the compressed air, more air mass can enter the combustion chamber at the same volume, allowing for more fuel to be burned, thus increasing power and efficiency. The lower the temperature of the charge air, the lower the thermal load on the engine, the turbocharger because it requires less RPM for the same amount of air mass. It also reduces fuel consumption and can slightly improve exhaust gas values, provided the control unit is adjusted accordingly. It is important to ensure that the intercooler receives as much airflow as possible. The coolers can be used for both turbocharged diesel and petrol engines. When choosing, it should be ensured that the intercooler is not too large for the engine because this affects the responsiveness, nor should it be too small. The offered LLK is made completely of aluminum with cast tanks, has five mounting points with M8 threads and a Barn Plate core, ideal for motorsports and tuning. Each intercooler is tested to 5 Bar before delivery.
