It may be possible to register the exhaust system according to §21 StVZO after a successful noise and performance measurement.
Description:
Our exhaust systems come from Sweden, from the brand Simons, and are manufactured according to ISO9001:2008 standards. Before the systems are released to the market, a prototype is created by the Product Development Department. It is always fitted directly to the vehicle, sound tests are conducted, and the engine efficiency and back pressure measured. Thus, a 100% fit accuracy and engine harmony are guaranteed. Because a turbocharged engine, unlike a naturally aspirated engine, does not require exhaust back pressure. Absorption silencers are used for turbocharged vehicles and a chamber system for naturally aspirated engines, both are very noise damping yet still have a robust, sporty sound (subjective to the observer). The sport exhaust systems usually all have an EC operating permit (see description).
