 Tuning Parts for Audi A4 B5 Avant 1.6, 1.8T, 1.9 TDI, 2.4, 2.6, 2.8 + Quattro

We offer a wide range of tuning parts for the Audi A4 B5 Avant 1.6, 1.8T, 1.9 TDI, 2.4, 2.6, 2.8 + Quattro. Most parts are plug and play, i.e., the original part is replaced, and the tuning part is installed without any modifications or with minimal adjustments. This saves a great deal of work, money, and time.

Turbocharger

The heart of the 1.8T, besides the engine, is the Turbocharger. We offer various upgrade Turbochargers such as K04-015 with a larger compressor wheel, turbine wheel, and reinforced Wastegate plug and play, because weaker wastegates may not be able to hold the boost pressure at a certain level and start to flutter. Therefore, stronger wastegates are needed. As a rule of thumb from an opening pressure of 0.5 bar, the wastegate can realize a holding pressure of approx. 1.3 bar and then starts to flutter. This allows for max. 300HP. The turbocharger is visually hardly distinguishable from the original. We stock original BorgWarner as well as our own brand „Turbo-parts.de“ which we have been successfully distributing for over 13 years. These are all finely balanced and have a long service life. To ensure the turbocharger receives enough exhaust gas, an appropriately large Exhaust Manifold is needed. We also offer again Silicon Hoses e.g., Intake Hoses or Boost Hoses that can withstand the power. To achieve more airflow, Performance Air Filters as well as larger Intake Manifolds are essential for optimal ventilation. Blow-Off Valves also known as Pop-Off or SUV are essential for the 1.8T, they must also be closed, otherwise the air mass meter misses the air diverted into the atmosphere during calculation. Therefore, open valves are not suitable for the 1.8T with original injection system.

Power Transmission

To transfer the power to the road, Performance Clutches are essential. We have complete kits with single mass flywheel, pressure plate, clutch disc with organic lining, and release bearing that are also suitable for street use, spring-loaded sintered metal discs are also suitable for the street only non-sprung are more for racing use.

Cooling

To get cool air into the engine, a larger Intercooler Kit or an upgrade Intercooler is needed, because cooler air is denser and contains more air mass which again leads to more power. Especially in summer or during longer highway drives, this becomes noticeable. For conversions with replacement turbochargers, other Oil and Water Lines are also needed.

Engine Technology

In order for the engine to withstand certain performances, Forged Pistons are installed. We have had good experiences with JE Pistons and Wiseco.
