The exhaust system comes from Friedrich Motorsport. Before the systems are launched on the market, a prototype is created by the product development department. It is always fitted directly to the vehicle, sound tests are performed, engine efficiency and backpressure are measured. This guarantees a 100% fit and harmony with the engine. Since a turbocharged engine, unlike a naturally aspirated engine, requires no exhaust backpressure. Absorption silencers are used for turbocharged vehicles, and a chamber system for naturally aspirated engines, both are very noise-damping yet still have a robust, sporty sound (subject to the observers preference). The sport exhaust systems usually all have an EC-operating permit (see description).
