We offer a wide range of tuning parts for the Audi A4 B6 Avant 1.6, 1.8T, 1.9 TDI, 2.4, 2.6, 2.8 + Quattro. Most parts are plug and play, meaning the original part is replaced and the tuning part is installed without modification or with minimal adjustment. This saves a lot of work, money, and time.

Turbochargers

The heart of the 1.8T, besides the engine, is the Turbocharger. We offer various upgrade Turbochargers, such as the K04-015 with a larger compressor wheel, turbine wheel, and reinforced wastegate plug and play, as weaker wastegates cannot maintain the boost pressure at a certain level and start to flutter, thus stronger wastegates are needed. As a rule of thumb, from an opening pressure of 0.5 bar, the wastegate can achieve a holding pressure of about 1.3 bar and then it starts to flutter. With this, up to 300HP is possible. The turbocharger is visually hardly distinguishable from the original. We have original Borgwarner in our range as well as our own brand "Turbo-parts.de" which we have been successfully distributing for over 13 years. All of them are finely balanced and have a long lifespan. In order for the turbocharger to get enough exhaust gases, a suitable large exhaust manifold is needed. Here we have again upgrade Manifolds with a larger pipe cross-section that are easily swapped against the original manifold. For conversions with universal turbochargers e.g. GT28 Turbo or GT30 etc., a manifold with the matching flange T25 or T3 is required, which we also have in our range. If your exhaust housing for your original turbo or upgrade turbo is cracked/defective, you can also purchase it from us.

The turbocharger alone is not enough. Naturally, the surrounding parts must also be exchanged so that the optimal performance can be extracted from the engine.

Exhaust Technology

To generate as little back pressure as possible, Downpipes with a larger diameter, e.g., 76mm are required to relieve the turbo and generate less exhaust back pressure. We also offer these with TÜV and with 200 cells or 100 cells sports catalytic converters.

To achieve a sonorous sound and for sufficient exhaust gases to escape, we have various sports exhaust systems usually from Simons from Sweden with EC approval, meaning they do not need to be entered and can be used legally in road traffic.

Intake

For upgrade turbochargers or for engines with increased performance, the original intake hoses often collapse, leading to power loss. We offer Silicone Hoses e.g., Intake Hoses or boost pressure hoses that can withstand the performance. To achieve more airflow, Sport Air Filters as well as larger intake manifolds ensure the optimal breathing. Blow Off Valves also known as Pop-Off or SUV are essential for the 1.8T, they must also be closed, otherwise the mass air flow sensor will miss the air vented into the atmosphere when calculating. Therefore, open valves are not suitable for the 1.8T with the original injection system.

Power Transmission

To transfer the power to the road, Sports Clutches are essential. We have complete kits with single mass flywheel, pressure plate, friction disc with organic material, and release bearing that are also road legal, sprung sintered metal disks are also suitable for the road but unsprung are recommended more for motorsport.

Cooling

To get cool air into the engine a larger Intercooler Kit or an upgrade Intercooler is needed, as cooler air is denser and contains more air mass which leads to more power. This becomes noticeable especially in summer or during long motorway trips. For conversions with exchange turbochargers, different Oil and Water Lines are also needed.

Engine Technology

For the engine to withstand certain performances, Forged Pistons are used. We have had good experiences with JE-Pistons and Wiseco.
