Tuning Parts for Audi A4 B6 Cabrio 1.6, 1.8T, 1.9 TDI, 2.4, 2.6
We offer a wide range of tuning parts for the Audi A4 B6 Avant 1.6, 1.8T, 1.9 TDI, 2.4, 2.6. Most parts are plug and play, meaning the original part is replaced, and the tuning part is installed without modification or with minimal adjustment. This saves a lot of work, money, and time.
Turbochargers
The heart of the 1.8T, besides the engine, is the Turbocharger. We offer various upgrade Turbochargers such as the K04-015 with a larger compressor wheel, turbine wheel, and a reinforced actuator plug and play because weaker actuators can't hold the boost pressure at a certain level and start to flutter, therefore, stronger actuators are needed. A rule of thumb is that an opening pressure of 0.5 Bar can achieve a holding pressure of about 1.3 Bar, and then it starts to flutter. With this, a maximum of 300HP is possible. The turbocharger is visually hardly distinguishable from the original. We have original Borgwarner in our program as well as our own brand “Turbo-parts.de” which we have been successfully selling for over 13 years now. These are all finely balanced and have a long lifespan. For the turbocharger to receive enough exhaust gases, a corresponding large exhaust manifold is necessary. Here we also have upgrade Manifolds with a larger pipe diameter that can be easily swapped against the original manifold. For conversions with universal turbochargers e.g. GT28 Turbo or GT30 etc., a manifold with the appropriate T25 or T3 flange is needed, which we also have in our program. If your exhaust housing for your original turbo or upgrade turbo is cracked/defective, you can also purchase it from us.
Having just a Turbocharger is not enough. Of course, the surrounding parts also need to be replaced to extract the optimal performance from the engine.
Exhaust Technology
To generate as little exhaust back pressure as possible, Downpipes with a larger pipe diameter e.g. 76mm are needed, so that the turbo is relieved and less exhaust back pressure is produced. These are also available with TÜV certification and with 200 cells or 100 cells sports catalytic converters.
To get a sonorous sound and to ensure enough exhaust gases can escape, we have various Sports Exhaust Systems usually from Simons in Sweden with EC approval, meaning they do not need to be registered and can be legally used on the road.
Intake
With upgrade Turbochargers or with power-enhanced engines, the original intake hoses tend to collapse, leading to power loss. We offer Silicone Hoses e.g. Intake Hoses or charge pressure hoses that can withstand the performance. To achieve more air throughput,Sports Air Filters as well as larger Blow-off Valves also called Pop-Off or SUV are indispensable for the 1.8T, they also need to be closed, otherwise, the air mass meter is missing the air vented to the atmosphere in its calculation. Therefore, open valves are not suitable for the 1.8T with original injection system.
Power Transmission
To transmit the power to the road, Sports Clutches are essential. We have complete kits with single mass flywheel, pressure plate, friction disc with organic lining, and release bearing that are also roadworthy; sprung sintered metal discs are also suitable for the road only unsprung ones are recommended for motorsport.
Cooling
To get cold air into the engine, a larger Intercooler Kit or an upgrade Intercooler is needed as cooler air is denser and contains more air mass which again leads to more performance. Especially in the summer or during longer motorway drives, this becomes noticeable. For conversions with replacement turbochargers, other Oil and Water Lines are needed.
