Description:
The upgrade intercooler is installed at the front, between the turbocharger and the intake manifold. It is simply replaced with the original 1:1. The purpose of an intercooler is to cool down the air heated by the turbocharger. By cooling down the compressed air, more air mass can enter the combustion chamber at the same volume, allowing more fuel to be burned, thereby increasing power and efficiency. The lower the charge air temperature, the lower the thermal load on the engine, the turbocharger because it requires less RPM for the same air mass. Fuel consumption is also reduced, and the engine achieves slightly better exhaust values, provided the ECU is adjusted accordingly. It is important to ensure that the intercooler receives as much driving wind as possible. The coolers can be used in turbocharged diesel and gasoline engines. The offered intercooler is completely made of aluminum with cast boxes and has a Bar`n Plate core, ideal for motorsport and tuning. Each intercooler is tested at up to 5 bar before delivery.
