Description:

The intercooler kit is installed between the turbocharger and the intake manifold. It is compatible with the vehicles mentioned above. The purpose of an intercooler is to cool down the air heated by the turbocharger. By cooling the compressed air, more air mass enters the combustion chamber for the same volume, allowing more fuel to be burned, thus increasing performance and efficiency. The lower the temperature of the charge air, the lower the thermal load on the engine and the turbocharger since it requires less rotational speed for the same air mass. It also reduces fuel consumption and slightly improves emission values, provided that the engine control unit is adjusted accordingly. Its important to ensure that the radiator receives as much airflow as possible. The offered LLK kit is entirely made of aluminum with cast tanks, includes mounting points for the original brackets, and features a Bar’n Plate core. It supports performance up to approximately 340HP. Ideal for motorsport and tuning. Each intercooler is tested before delivery at up to 5 Bar.
