Description:

The exhaust system comes from Friedrich Motorsport. Before the systems are launched, a prototype is created by the Product Development Department. It is always adjusted directly on the vehicle, sound tests are conducted, engine efficiency and backpressure measured. Thus, a 100% fit and engine harmony is guaranteed. For instance, a turbocharged engine, as opposed to a naturally aspirated engine, does not require exhaust backpressure. In turbocharged vehicles, absorption silencers are used, and for naturally aspirated engines, a chamber system is applied, both of which are very noise-damping yet still maintain a sporty, robust sound (naturally subjective to the observer). The sports exhaust systems mostly have EC operating permission (see description).
