With us, you can affordably acquire high-quality, stainless steel exhaust flaps for your exhaust system. These are then used to regulate the loudness of the exhaust.
The functioning is quite simple:
In the closed state, exhaust gases are directed through the muffler. When the flap is open, part of it goes through a straight pipe, making the exhaust louder. The vacuum pressure-controlled flap is closed in the vacuum pressure area and then opens as the vacuum pressure decreases or, in the case of turbo engines, moves into overpressure. A hose is laid from the intake manifold to the vacuum box of the flap, or the flap is controlled via a remote control or switch. A solenoid valve is installed in the hose.
