The exhaust system is made by Friedrich Motorsport. Before the systems are released on the market, a prototype is created by the product development department. This is always adjusted directly on the vehicle, sound tests are conducted, engine efficiency and back pressure are measured. This ensures a 100% fit and motor harmony. Because a turbocharged engine does not require exhaust back pressure, absorption dampers are used for turbo-powered vehicles, and chamber systems are used for naturally aspirated engines, both of which are very sound-absorbing and still have a strong, sporty sound (which of course is a matter of personal taste). Most sport exhaust systems have an EC type-approval (see description).
