Possibly, the exhaust system could be registered according to §21 StVZO after successful noise and performance measurement.

Description:

Our exhaust systems come from Sweden by the brand Simons and are manufactured according to ISO9001:2008 standards. Before the systems are launched on the market, a prototype is created by the product development department. This is always adjusted directly on the vehicle, sound test performed, engine efficiency and back pressure measured. Thus, a 100% fit and engine harmony is guaranteed. Unlike naturally aspirated engines, a turbo engine does not require exhaust backpressure. For turbocharged vehicles, absorption mufflers are used and for naturally aspirated engines a chamber system is used, both are very sound-proofing yet still have a crisp, sporty sound (subject to the viewers opinion). The sports exhaust systems usually have an EC operating license (see description).
