Description:
- The base for this turbocharger is an original Borgwarner 5316 998 0010, also called K16, with exhaust manifold and turbocharger combined. A milled compressor wheel (GTX shape) with an adapted, CNC milled compressor housing was used. The turbo also includes a special 360° racing axial thrust bearing and a reinforced actuator. The charger fits directly and is replaced with the original. All connections are as per original. . The software must be adapted to the turbo. In order to achieve a performance of 500HP, the following should be modified: exhaust system min ø 76mm, downpipe min. ø 76mm, larger injectors 550ccm, intercooler kit, 200 cell sports cat installed. With the correct ECU tuning, up to 500HP are possible. We source the turbo from a German Borgwarner representation.
