- Audi S3 8L 209-225HP (also fits vehicles with headlight washing system, but not with fog lights)

Description:

The Audi S3 8L Front Charge Air Cooler Kit was directly adjusted on the vehicle. Thus, a quick and easy installation is given. The aluminum pipes have an outer diameter of ø 60mm. The Charge Air Cooler Kit is installed in the front between Turbocharger and Intake Manifold. It is compatible with the vehicles mentioned above. The purpose of a charge air cooler is to cool down the air heated by the turbocharger. By cooling down the compressed air, more air mass can enter the combustion chamber at the same volume, allowing more fuel to be burnt, thereby increasing power and efficiency. The lower the charge air temperature, the lower the thermal load on the engine, the turbocharger as it needs less RPM for the same air mass. Also, fuel consumption is reduced and the engine attains slightly better exhaust values, provided that the control unit is adapted accordingly. It is important to ensure that the charge air cooler receives as much airflow as possible. The offered LLK Kit is completely made of aluminum with cast boxes, has 5 mounting points, and a Bar`n Plate network. A performance up to approximately 450HP is possible. Ideal for motorsport and tuning. Each charge air cooler is tested up to 5 Bar before delivery.
