Description:

The upgrade intercooler is installed in the front, between turbocharger and intake manifold. It is simply exchanged 1:1 with the original. The purpose of an intercooler is to cool down the air heated by the turbocharger. By cooling down the compressed air, more air mass can enter the combustion chamber at the same volume, allowing more fuel to be burned, thus increasing power and efficiency. The lower the charge air temperature, the lower the thermal load on the engine and the turbocharger, as it requires less rpm for the same mass of air. This also reduces fuel consumption and slightly improves exhaust values, provided the control unit is adjusted accordingly. It is important that the intercooler is exposed to as much airflow as possible. The coolers can be used for turbocharged diesel and gasoline engines. The offered I/C is completely made of aluminum with cast tanks and has a Bar`n Plate core, ideal for motorsports and tuning. Each intercooler is tested up to 5 Bar before delivery
