Description:

The upgraded intercooler is installed in the front, between turbocharger and intake manifold . It is simply replaced 1:1 with the original. The purpose of an intercooler is to cool down the air heated by the turbocharger. By cooling the compressed air, more air mass can enter the combustion chamber at the same volume, and more fuel can be burned, thereby increasing power and efficiency. The lower the charge air temperature, the lower the thermal load on the engine and the turbocharger as it requires less RPM for the same air mass. Fuel consumption is also reduced, and the engine achieves slightly better emission values, provided the control unit is adjusted accordingly. It is important that the intercooler gets as much airflow as possible. The coolers can be used with both supercharged diesel and petrol engines. The LLK offered here is entirely made of aluminum with cast boxes and has a Bar`n Plate network, ideal for motorsport and tuning. Each intercooler is tested up to 5 Bar before delivery.
