Description:

The intercooler is installed between the turbocharger and the intake manifold. The aim of the intercooler is to cool down the air heated by the turbocharger. By cooling down the compressed air, more air mass can enter the combustion chamber at the same volume, allowing more fuel to be burned, increasing performance and efficiency. The lower the intake air temperature, the lower the thermal load on the engine and the turbocharger, as it requires less speed for the same airflow. Fuel consumption is also reduced and the engine achieves slightly better exhaust emissions, provided that the engine control unit is adjusted accordingly. It is important to ensure that the intercooler receives as much airflow as possible. The coolers can be used for turbocharged diesel and gasoline engines. When choosing, make sure that the intercooler is not too large for the engine, as this will affect the response, and it should not be too small either. The intercooler offered here is made entirely of aluminum with cast housings, has five mounting points with M8 threads, and a bar and plate core, ideal for motorsport and tuning. Each intercooler is tested up to 5 Bar before delivery.
