Description:

A weak point in the VAG 1.8T engines is the standard hose between the crankcase ventilation and the intake manifold. This hose tears due to the pressure in the intake manifold, causing the boost pressure to escape. Besides a sudden or gradual loss of power, 1.8T engines without a MAP sensor can also suffer from an overly rich fuel mixture. The offered upgrade hose addresses this issue with a significantly more robust rubber compound and high-quality clamps. A must-have for 1.8T engines.
