Description:

The upgraded intercooler is installed in the front, between the turbocharger and the intake manifold. It is directly replaced with the original one on a 1:1 basis. The purpose of an intercooler is to cool down the air heated by the turbocharger. By cooling down the compressed air, more air mass can enter the combustion chamber at the same volume, allowing more fuel to be burned, thus increasing power and efficiency. The cooler the charge air, the lower the thermal stress on the engine and the turbocharger, as it needs less RPM for the same air mass. Also, fuel consumption is reduced, and the engine may achieve better emission values, provided the control unit is adjusted accordingly. It is important to ensure that the intercooler receives as much airflow as possible. The cooler can be used with both turbocharged diesel and gasoline engines. The offered LLK is entirely made of aluminum with cast end tanks and has a Bar`n Plate core, ideal for motorsport and tuning. Each intercooler is tested up to 5 Bar before delivery
