Description:

The upgraded intercooler is installed in the front, between the turbocharger and the intake manifold. It is simply replaced 1:1 with the original. The purpose of an intercooler is to cool down the air heated by the turbocharger. Cooling the compressed air allows more air mass to enter the combustion chamber at the same volume, enabling more fuel to be burned, thereby increasing power and efficiency. The lower the charge air temperature, the lower the thermal load on the engine and the turbocharger, as it requires less RPM for the same air mass. This also reduces fuel consumption and improves exhaust gas values, provided the control unit is adjusted accordingly. It is important that the intercooler receives as much airflow as possible. The coolers can be used in turbocharged diesel and petrol engines. The offered intercooler is completely made of aluminum with cast tanks and has a Barn Plate core, ideal for motorsports and tuning. Each intercooler is tested to 5 Bar before delivery.
