The old turbo is simply replaced with the new one. No welding required. Oil- and water connections fit from the old turbo, however, the oil feed line should definitely be replaced. The original intercooler has to be moved, because the intake is 76mm and the original intake hose doesnt fit anymore.
Please note that installing this item constitutes a modification which results in the vehicles operating license under the StVZO expiring. Not permitted for use on public roads.
Possibly, the Turbo Kit can be registered according to §21 StVZO following a successful exhaust, noise, and performance measurement.
