Turbochargers are used precisely when the performance and efficiency of a vehicle with a small displacement volume need to be increased. The trick of this system kicks in during the emission of exhaust gases into the atmosphere. On the same axis, there is also what's called the compressor wheel, which sucks in fresh air and, as the name suggests, “compresses” it. Compared to naturally aspirated engines, the cylinders are noticeably better filled by the compressed air, benefiting both drivers and vehicles from optimized engine performance.
