Description:

The upgrade intercooler is mounted in the front, between Turbolader and Ansaugbrücke. It is simply replaced with the original 1:1. The purpose of an intercooler is to cool down the air heated by the turbocharger. By cooling down the compressed air, more air mass can enter the combustion chamber at the same volume, which allows more fuel to be burned, thus increasing both power and efficiency. The lower the charge air temperature, the lower the thermal load on the engine and turbocharger since it requires less RPM for the same air mass. It also decreases fuel consumption and potentially improves exhaust values, assuming the control unit is adjusted accordingly. It is important to ensure that the intercooler receives as much airflow as possible. The coolers can be used on both supercharged diesel and petrol engines. The offered LLK is entirely made of aluminum with cast cases and has a Barn Plate core, ideal for motorsports and tuning. Each intercooler is tested before delivery up to 5 Bar
