We would like to point out that installing this item constitutes a modification that invalidates the vehicles operating permit according to the German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVZO). Not approved for use on public roads.
If a successful noise and performance test is carried out, the exhaust system may be approved according to §21 StVZO.
Description:
Our exhaust systems come from Sweden, from the manufacturer Ray. They are distributed under the brand Simons and are manufactured according to ISO9001:2008 standard. Before the systems come on the market, a prototype is created by the product development department. This prototype is always adjusted directly to the vehicle, sound test conducted, engine efficiency and backpressure measured. This ensures 100% fit and engine harmony. Because a turbocharged engine, unlike a naturally aspirated engine, does not require exhaust backpressure. For turbocharged vehicles, absorption silencers are used, and for naturally aspirated engines, a chamber system is used, both of which are very noise-damping and still have a sporty sound (of course, this is subjective). Most sports exhaust systems have an EC type-approval (see description).
